Detroit Lions 2020 Season Schedule & The Pink Slips Are Ready

THIS YEAR, WILL BE THE YEAR!

And usually, we just mean (try to) make it to the playoffs. Some of us go even further with dreams of a Superbowl in our heads.

We can all dream can't we?

And while we're talking about dreams and playoffs, Patricia and Quinn you know what's up. Playoffs or bust. Get in or YOU BOTH GO HOME PINK SLIPS IN HAND. Martha said it with all the attitude of Vince McMahon and the WWE. It's like a loser leaves town, no disqualification match. And I'm down with that.

It's that time of the year again. If you sat through the draft, phase two of the pains of being a Lions fan is here. The reveal of the season schedule. Followed by a pre-season that won't mean squat but either gives you high hopes that won't materialize or disappointment of things to come. I'm not a pessimist, but a Lions fan who's seen a thing or two. Over and over again.

I don't like preseason. Let's just get to the meat and potatoes of the thing.

And truth be told, I'm still skeptical about what an NFL game is going to look like. I mean we have months to go but the elephant in the room is still Covid-19. We playing in empty arenas? Reduced occupancy? That's gonna be weird.

But we don't care. Get us some sports on TV STAT!

And we only have one prime time game.

And the inevitable early predictions. Cause SOL. Same Old Lions. Lions gonna Lions!

Regardless, I'll be right there cheering them on. Hoping Stafford's back holds out for the season and the new draft picks make an impact.

And watching Matt Patricia fight like he's never fought before.
