Detroit Lions Coach Matt Patricia Rated Near Bottom Of NFL Coaches
Training camp and the new season is almost here. A new ranking of NFL coaches is out and has the Lions coach near the bottom of the league.
According to M-Live, the new coaches rankings are from NFL dot com and has Matt Patricia ranked 24th out of 26 returning head coaches in the NFL.
Patricia's first year as the coach saw the Lions finish with a 6-10 record. Free agency and the draft should help the team improve.
The only coaches who were ranked lower than Patricia are former Dolphins and now New York Jets coach, Adam Gase and Giants coach Pat Shurmur. First year coaches for the upcoming season were not ranked.
Patriots head coach Bill Belichik was number one in the coaches rankings. Training camp for the Lions will begin on July 25th.
The regular season for the Lions will be on Sunday, September 8th in Arizona against the Cardinals.
