Do You Know the Official Michigan State Song?

I have lived in Michigan my entire life. I am sure my music teacher Mrs. Showerman would kill me if I didn't remember her teaching me but I just don't remember this. The official Michigan Anthem is "My Michigan." There is much debate according to the internet machine and wikipedia.org.

So, that was it. I am not a big fan. I went to youtube and checked out the "UNOFFICIAL STATE ANTHEM" Michigan, My Michigan video.I t was just a wee bit better but a bit of a downer. For a more scenic view check out the one below.

I think it's time for a new state song. Or at least have some competition to compose a new one. I am thinking Bob Seger and Alice Cooper would have some great ideas?
