If you live in East Lansing and still have some yard waste then you are in luck as the city is doing another round of collections. According to WILX, the city of East Lansing will be having a second round of yard collection in sort of the same fashion as the first round. The collection will be happening over the next 5 weeks starting May 4th plus there will also be one week of bulk item collection next week in order to accommodate spring move-out and residents in need.

Here are some dates to keep in mind: Monday, May 4 will have bulk item collection through out the week but no yard waste collection, May 11th no fee yard waste collection if you live east of Abbot Road, May 18th same as 11th but for home west of Abbot Road, June 1st will have regular yard waste and bulk item collection. There will be no services on May 25th which is Memorial Day, so keep the dates above noted in your mind because if you are like me you have a lot yard waste to get rid of.
