This Saturday is the Eat Healthy Eat Local Festival in St, Johns and there is all kinds of stuff going on. Click here to see their Facebook event page. Proceeds from events like this festival are used to help open an organic grocery store and farm-to-table restaurant in St. Johns.

Saturday the event goes on from 10-6pm. I will be there broadcasting live with the station and getting people signed up to score Foreigner and Styx tickets with other WMMQ goodies.

There will be four live music acts from noon to 4. Shelby and Jake 12-1pm.

Craig Hendershot and Paul Theroux 1-2pm.

Melik Brown of Lansing Made is the master of ceremonies.

The eat Healthy eating contest is happening at 4:30. Sign up is at PKSA Karate from 10am-3pm.

The EHEL Festival is a place where the community can meet and shop local farms, food producers, artisans of natural self-care products (soaps/oils, lip balms, cleaning and self-care products, etc.), massage therapists, nutritionists, chiropractors, wellness spas, etc., all while enjoying healthy selections from Michigan-Made food trucks...and so much more!!
Learn about creating a healthier lifestyle for you and your family in this fun-filled day in the streets of downtown St. Johns! This is all happening the day before Mother's Day, so bring Mom out so she can shop local goods and enjoy delicious healthy food! Heather's Dance Company will offer FREE Dance classes at the studio throughout the day. 221 N. Clinton Ave. (Between Kurts Appliance and Unique Reflections) All classes are casual or come as you are. However, you may sweat! You are welcome to use the studio facilities to change clothes if needed. :) Bare feet or dance shoes only on the dance floor.

*10:30-11am Dance Conditioning

* 11:30-12pm Hip Hop All ages (Heartbeat)

*12:30-1pm Tap All ages (In the Mood Again)- borrow shoes

* 1:30-2:00pm Ballet/Lyrical All Ages (I Get to Love You)

*2:30-3:00pm Adult and Me Pre level class (ages 2-5)

We may be taking our tiny dancer to one of these.
