Fall is living well in Michigan this time of year. The temperatures have dropped and we have a lot less daylight. We do a lot of outdoor work in the fall around our homes. What are some awesome meals you can serve that can warm you up quickly on a cold fall day?

Shepards Pie

We haven't made this at home in a couple of years but plan on doing so soon. It's like chicken pot pie but with mashed potatoes on top instead of crust and the protein is lamb or beef. Get some great recipes so you can make your own amazing Shepards Pie. Eating this hits the spot after a long cold day outside in the fall.

Chili

There are so many different ways to prepare chili. For me, I like it meaty. We add brisket, beef and a few beans. The meatier the better. After you get done cleaning the gutters on a crisp autumn day, chili will warm ya up. Chili is better the second day. Enjoy the leftovers. Try a new recipe for chili if you dare.
