It's not just doctors in the hospitals who need to be concerned with protecting themselves from the shockingly contagious COVID-19. A forensic medical examiner in Thailand reportedly contracted COVID-19 by examining an infected body. The examiner later died. It's the first known reported death among medical personnel in a forensic medical unit, according to this story from buzzfeedcom.

Funeral home and morgue workers should take the same precautions as the doctors in the hospitals are taking.

They aren't really sure yet how long the virus can live in the dead. If you or someone you love works around dead bodies, you should take some extra safety steps.
