Father's Day is on Sunday, June 19th. Don't forget about it. It's time do some shopping to make sure you get dad a special gift.

I'm a dad; I am blessed with two great sons. Being a dad is the best job, experience or roll that I could ever imagine. For the longest time I didn't think I would have kids. It's the greatest gift that has ever been given to me and it changed my life.

When I was younger, I would get my dad something cheap or make him something at school. I'm excited for Father's Day because I get to spend that time with my kids. I am curious to see if they make me something this year. No gifts are necessary, but I would prefer something homemade. I think it's awesome that they took some time to create something cool versus playing Fortnite all day.

I have received some pretty cool gifts in the past that weren't homemade. A flat top for the backyard was a nice gift along with numerous outdoor gadgets over the years. They were all practical gifts, and that made them special too.

This year all I want to do is to go to a baseball game, eat some ball park food and spend time with the ones that give me the title "dad" or "father." As we celebrate the dads in our lives, let's remember to spend that time with those that admire us more than any other male in their life.
