Halloween Costume Contest TODAY!!!

The day has finally arrived for the WMMQ Halloween Costume Contest for Dogs at Celebration Cinema!

This is a favorite event of the crew here at WMMQ - and special thanks to WMMQ afternoon host Nick Chase for doing all the equipment setup to get us on the air every year.

Russell Shinevar has been a fierce competitor in the costume contest for many years. He sent me a collection of photos of his Boston Terrier 'Buster', who has competed for many years in the pageantry. Russell was determined to take the top prize, which he indeed landed in 2016! Looking back here at some of the pics, 2016 was an especially good year for the dog costumes - check 'em out here.

As alwaysRussell says I'm in for a big surprise. One of the things I love so much about the WMMQ Halloween Costume Contest for Dogs is getting a glimpse of our listener's creativity.
