As if we need another reason to celebrate the glory of beer, today we have another legitimate excuse to tip one or six back. But, I'm confused...I thought National Beer Day was in April on the same date that Prohibition was repealed? It turns out I was right. And, apparently, there are numerous unofficial national days to commemorate the beauty of brewed hops and malted barley.

WLNS.com says that today is National American Beer Day. This is not to be confused with National Beer Day on April 7 of each year...the same date that Prohibition was repealed. Nor, should it be mistaken for Drink Beer Day that was less than a month back on September 28.

What the hell?? Who needs a designated day, anyways, to tip some suds? I'm in for 365 days designated to beer consumption...except for the really bad hangover days!!
