That isn't surprising, but what GasBuddy.com revealed in their most recent poll, is that people have different favorite fuel stops depending on what they are stopping for: Coffee, Convenience, or Potty Breaks. Fortunately, Stacker.com found the answers!

Gas stations have really upped their coffee game as of late, trying to compete with coffee chains by offering good coffee and gas in one stop. It's rare to see a single lonely, dirty, glass pitcher of coffee sitting nearly empty with its contents slowly cooking into a burnt coffee bark. Now you have a wide selection of convenience store cappuccinos, hot chocolate, roasted coffee with different levels of caffeine, and even a single-serve bean grinder.

Speedway took home the trophy for Michigan's favorite gas station coffee stop and it's hard to argue. The coffee island and the 7/11-owned chain are impressive, with tons of cream, flavors, and a good solid cup.

At the end of a long day at work, the last thing you might look forward to is battling the quitting time crowds at the supermarket. To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.
