John Fogerty is NO DOUBT one of the great American voices. I think he and Tom Petty are two of the most easily identifiable American voices. It's mellowed a bit throughout his 75 years. Friday, he celebrated his 75th birthday by finally playing "Centerfield" at Dodger Stadium. He always wanted to play center field.

The Fogerty Family band just dropped an EP Friday on his birthday called Fogerty's Factory. It's a nod to the Creedence Clearwater Revival Album Cosmo's Factory that turns 50 years old in July.

Fogerty’s Factory Track List
1. Centerfield
2. Have You Ever Seen the Rain
3. Long as I Can See the Light
4. Down on the Corner )
5. Bad Moon Rising
6. Fortunate Son
7. Proud Mary

In the Fogerty band playing guitar is his daughter Kelsey. She is just 18 years old. Also, his sons Tyler and Shane. The video was shot by Bob Fogerty.

John Fogerty is one of the only artists I have ever heard of to be sued by his record label for plagiarizing himself. He won that suit, by the way. Click here to check that out.

You have to wonder how long we are going to see the images of people playing or performing in front of empty stadiums.

Sometimes a good crowd really fuels a performance.
