Kermit And Piggy Call It Quits

Well, another "Hollywood couple" has ended their longtime relationship. According to the USA Today, Kermit The Frog and Miss Piggy have gone public on social media announcing their breakup. As they say, the "bad news" always comes in threes. Just days on the heels of Ban Affleck and Jennifer Garner splitting ways, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert finalizing a divorce, the curse hits Muppetland...and fans mourn, again.

Kermit and Piggy have been like ketchup and mustard, peanut butter and jelly, cookies and milk my entire life. When I first heard the news, I thought, "No way! Not Kermit and Piggy!!" But, then, the bad news was confirmed by Miss Piggy, passing along the official statement from both on Twitter, which you can read below.

Now, I'm going to HAVE to watch the new series The Muppets beginning on September 22 on ABC. America will be glued to see if they reunite, or rub it in on each other.
