Lake Michigan Salmon Were Biting Yesterday

My now-retired brother Mark, roamer of the wilds, was in Manistee yesterday for a chartered fishing trip with Captain Lance Keene and a cast of characters.

Mark is the second guy from the right in the lineup. I asked him why he didn't look very happy after spending the morning on Lake Michigan, catching fish (34 total), and he said it was because he was in need of some sleep; he'd been up since 1:00 AM to make the drive, north from Midland, part of which was through the remnants of former sub-tropical storm Alberto.
