Lansing Mayoral Candidate Jailed On Assault Charges

WLNS.com reports that Danny Trevino Jr., a 2017 candidate running for Lansing mayor, has been arrested on felony assault charges. According to the report, Trevino is out on bond after being booked at Lansing City Jail on Tuesday.

Trevino Jr. faces a felony charge of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. He also is charged with two misdemeanor counts for domestic violence and malicious destruction of personal property.
