Officials with the Lansing Police Department are looking for any witnesses to a fatal accident that happened yesterday morning at the intersection of South Cedar Street and Greenlawn Avenue in Lansing. Police say a vehicle hit a motorcycle and the 24-year-old driver of the motorcycle was killed in the accident. Officials say that the vehicle was driven by a 31-year-old female and had five people inside the vehicle. They were all taken to the hospital for evaluation. According to a report from WILX, the motorcycle was driving southbound on Cedar Street and the vehicle was going northbound on Cedar and was turning westbound onto Greenlawn when the two hit.

The accident happened at around 11:39 am on Wednesday, August 22nd. Any witnesses to the accident are asked to call the Lansing Police Department at 517-483-4600. The victim's name has not been released yet by police. Click here to read more.
