Largest Particle Board Mill in North America Coming to Grayling

600-800 jobs are coming to Northern Michigan. The company Arauco will open the largest particle board mill in North America in 2018. Construction on the site has already begun. Click here to see the full story.

Arauco is in the final engineering phase and crews are cutting down trees at the site off 44 Mile Road in Grayling to pave the way for the construction phase. The mill will employ around 250 full time employees. Officials say 600-800 jobs could be created in all.

They chose Grayling because of the available raw material, the market demand, and that it's a community with 'valuable employees. Sounds like the Michigan work ethic hasn't lost it's reputation.
