As we approach St Patrick's Day, I think back to our trip to Scariff, County Clare to meet friends Eoin (Owen) O'hagan and his family. A couple years of phone calls, emails and prayer, led us on a voyage that would forever be woven into the fabric of our lives.

The opportunity to have a REAL Guinness poured by  Eamon at Jakko's. To fish with our new Italian friends Marco (who has actually been to Lansing and a Lugnuts game) and Nicola, and to drink Ricard with 20 French gendarme (police officers) who barely spoke a word of English. A barrier broken down by our love for fishing and smart phones with photos of our biggest catches!

Not a day goes by that we don't think of Padraig Giblin, Michael, Brian, Richard, Marcy from Oregon and her husband Ruiari and Ms. Helen. Songs and dancing in the celtic hut by Kate Purcell and the wonderful food.

So many great memories that hopefully we will be able to relive them again! Until then, enjoy the slideshow.
