Magic Mushrooms Decriminalized in Denver

Psilocybin is the psychoactive ingredient in “magic mushrooms.”

I think it's safe to say, Magic mushrooms have enhanced the music we play on this station. We do a psychedelic Saturday night for Rock sake. For years, people have been tripping balls and going to concerts... Even though it is illegal.

Whenever you see someone talking jiberish and running naked, I think they are on magic mushrooms. But now, scientists are using small doses of psilocybin to treat depression. Click here to see that I am not making it up.

The law is not championing legalization... It is meant to keep people out of jail. The people who possessed, sell and grow the mushrooms.

The mushroom ordinance also prevents city funds from being used to pursue criminal penalties on possession or use and creates a panel to study the effects of the change.
