Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes at The Henry Ford wasn't just an exhibit; it was an interactive experience. You really were encouraged to play and feel like you were becoming part of it all — something anyone who is anywhere between a casual fan and an absolute fanatic would really love.

There were statues you could pose with, infographics you could flip through and even a spot you could stand while using XBox Kinect technology to feel like you're Iron Man.

Even as a casual Marvel fan, I could not help but be drawn in and fascinated at how an entire "universe" like the Marvel Comic Universe was formed. It made me understand more how people can be so inspired and empowered by the characters.

The experience starts off with a short, five-minute documentary that explains how it all got started, which gets you prepared to truly immerse yourself and understand how creators like the late, great Stan Lee got Marvel Comics to where it is today.

My favorite part was all of the costumes they had on display that tell you they were actually worn by the actors that portrayed those characters. The "Black Panther" costume was kind of a sobering moment knowing it was worn by the recently late Chadwick Boseman. So many were inspired by his personal story and that character and it was pretty magical. Also, with Iron Man being my absolute favorite, I loved being able to see the variations of the super-suit all on display.

Toward the end of the exhibit, they had a fun photo booth that allows you and your pals to turn yourselves into one of your favorite comics! We went with Iron Man:
