MEAT Southern BBQ In Old Town Is Getting More Room

One of my favorite places to eat in Lansing (Old Town) is expanding. Kind of like my waist line when I chow down on their amazing PORK BELLY REUBEN (hands down one of the best sandwiches in Lansing).

Meat Southern B.B.Q. & Carnivore Cuisine's Turner Street restaurant is expanding, taking over storefront space next door to add another 1,300-square-feet of space to its footprint.

When Meat B.B.Q.'s expansion is finished the restaurant's new dining space will include the addition of a 12-foot by 10-foot glass garage door that can be slid up during warmer weather.(Lansing State Journal)

The additional space will have room for 40 more seats and a larger waiting area. Word is, the expansion should be done by mid August.

And while they are know for AMAZING BBQ, I must insist you go for this baby right here!

Underneath where it says DUCK SLAYER SLAMMERS (which is a whole nother something else my friends), is the PORK BELLY REUBEN! I will never steer you wrong when it comes to food. And THAT SANDWICH...trust me. Try it. You will not be sorry! I'd show you a picture of one that I've eaten but they never last that long.

Or you could try the Boss Logg...but that's just INSANE!
