Utah Jazz Player Reportedly Positive for COVID-19 After Joking About it at Press Conference
Quit playing. Seriously.
Wednesday night, we went to bed knowing that March Madness would most likely be happening in mostly empty arenas. A little surprised but in all honesty, that's been the rumor for a while because...the coronavirus.
Thursday morning we woke up to the NBA has suspended it's season.
It was reported that a Utah Jazz player had tested positive for the coronavirus.
The player? Rudy Gobert.
And the reason why this is all so deliciously ironic?
On Monday at a post game press conference, he joked about all this not being a big deal. And reporters were told to keep 6-8 feet away from players so as not to infect them. After the interviews were done, he touched all the mics. Take a look.
