September is here and that means it's time for some blues in Lansing. Michigan BluesFest returns to Old Town Lansing September 14 - 16. Make your plans to be at this awesome event.

Old Town is a thriving destination in historic Lansing. The Old Town Commericial Association is stoked to be welcoming Michigan BluesFest again this year:

We are so pleased to welcome Michigan BluesFest back to the streets of Old Town, Lansing. We have a terrific line-up of some of the best regional blues artists who represent different faces of the blues.  They are as excited to get back in front of an audience as we are to hear them. There will be something for everyone—even the kids! Enjoy a weekend of energy, excitement, music and coming together again as a community, where we can reconnect with old friends and make new ones.

You can get involved, if you'd like to volunteer some time at this year's event. Awesome event's aren't possible without volunteers to pull it off.

Will there be food and drinks available?

That's a good, yet, rhetorical question. It's BluesFest and there will be tasty grub options available and alcohol available for purchase. Think of BluesFest more of like a backyard gathering of awesome people dancing, sharing stories, enjoying food & drink and lettin' loose.

Who's performing? When should I be at BluesFest?

The weekend kicks off on Wednesday night (9/13) with longtime Lansing favorite, Jeff Baldori Blues Band in concert starting at 8pm at the UrbanBeat Stage.

On Thursday night there are 2 performers, Tom Duffield & Gina Garner and the All Night Long Band and this is a fundraiser! Showtimes are 7pm and 8pm

Friday and Saturday are filled with fun and blues! On Friday gates open at 5pm, Saturday 2pm. Get the complete line up for Michigan BluesFest.
