Michigan is Now Taking Applications for Recreational Marijuana Businesses
Look out, ladies and germs - it's legal reefer madness in Michigan!
At 12:01 this morning, the state of Michigan started officially accepting applications for recreational marijuana businesses.
The Marijuana Regulatory Agency in Lansing will start taking hand-delivered applications this morning. The agency says that they expect to approve the first licenses by the end of this month.
But wait, don't get too excited just yet.
You won't be able to just stroll into a pot shop and by some dank weed for a few months. There's literally NO supply of recreational marijuana in the state yet. Growers need a license for that and a grow can take a few months.
Not to mention, the licensing fees are insanely high. Fees range from $1,000 to $40,000. For the full list of fees, click HERE.
