Michigan State beat Notre Dame in front of Touchdown Jesus last night and got bumped up to #8 in both polls. Click here to see them. Alabama and Ohio State are #1 and #2 in both polls. Louisville is up to #3 in the AP after handing Florida State the worst loss in school history. How many worse losses have they handed teams? Michigan is #5 in the AP getting 1 first place vote? #4 in the Coaches Poll.

The 36-28 victory for MSU got a bit uneasy but it was the 29th time MSU has beat Notre Dame. Only USC has more victories against the Irish. Notre Dame has beaten MSU 48 times. It got uneasy because the game looked like a blowout at 36-7, then we let them back in. Or did we? Notre Dame is VERY talented and won't have issues scoring against ANYONE. I believe their playoff hopes are over.

Had MSU beaten Notre Dame 36-7, they would have jumped higher in the polls. Louisville and Clemson both jumped up after blowouts. Alabama squeaked by Ole Miss and doesn't fall, while Ohio State CRUSHED Oklahoma 45-24 and didn't move past the Tide. It will all work itself out this week as MSU hosts 3-0 Wisconsin at noon on Saturday.
