The 21st Annual Lansing Board of Water and Light Chili Cook-Off is finally approaching. Making its way to Adado Riverfront Park in the fall season for the first time, organizers have tabbed the event the "Chili Bowl" as local businesses and restaurants battle to see who has the hottest, tastiest chili in Mid-Michigan.

Keep Friday, October 7 open. The Chili Cook-off opens at 5:30pm with festivities taking place until 9:00pm, featuring live music, merchandise and beer tents, and a chili dog eating contest, emceed by yours truly, Nick Chase. Tickets are available now: $5 for adults, $3 for children. And, the Chili Fast Pass is back this year, allowing entry 30 minutes early. Portions of those proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

I will be broadcasting my show live that Friday from Adado Riverfront Park. For more information or for ticket purchases, visit this link to The Board of Water and Light website.
