Michigan State University has released details regarding this weekend's Spring Game and Youth Clinic. Coaches and players will hold a free youth football clinic for children ages 8-12 Saturday, April 23 from 11:00am-12:30pm. Kids that take part will be split into age groups and sent to various practice locations surrounding the stadium. Parking lots 56 and 79 will be open for participants beginning at 9:00am. There is no registration required. But, parents should have kids there early as a record 1,718 children participated in 2015. No football gear is required. And, better yet, participants will receive ice cream and coupons for a free hot dog and soft drink from Spartan Stadium concessions during the Spring Game.

As for the scrimmage, it will also be free to attend, and will kick off at 3:06pm Saturday. Gates open at 1:30pm. Parking is free in Lots 63E/W, 67, 39/40, 41; Ramps 2, 5, and 7; Disabled Parking will be in Lot 62W. All of these lots will open at 10:00am. The first 20,000 fans through the Spartan Stadium gates will receive a free, commemorative poster.

As far as media coverage is concerned, BTN will carry TV coverage while we here at WMMQ will have radio coverage from Spartan SPorts Network beginning at 2:30pm.
