MSU Junior DT Williams Returning For Senior Season
Michigan State football defensive tackle Raequan Williams (pictured) announced on Friday morning that he will return to East Lansing for his senior season, this according to Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press.
Williams had a stellar junior season, with 49 tackles and 9 1/2 tackles for loss. He also added 1 1/2 sacks to his total for 2018.
Raequan is one of four prominent juniors on the Spartan defense. Cornerback Justin Layne declared for the NFL Draft earlier this week. Fellow juniors Kenny Willekes (defensive end) and Joe Bachie (linebacker) have yet to decide whether to stay in school or head to the Draft.
The 7-5 MSU Spartans will play Oregon in the Redbox Bowl on New Year's Eve in Santa Clara, California.
