My Hometown Pizza Joint Is Coming To Lansing, Y’all Are In For A Treat

While doing my usual morning perusal of Facebook, I saw the news on the Lansing State Journal: Buddy's Pizza is making it's way up here. And I'll tell you right now, you're going to want to get your taste buds ready. Buddy's serves up, literally, the BEST "Original Detroit Style Square Pizza" you will ever have the pleasure of tasting. Of course they have plenty of other delicious menu choices, but the star of the show is the square pizza.

No word just yet on the official location says Buddy's Pizza spokesperson, Joelle Kruczek. But they like the idea of something near Michigan State's campus, and the surrounding Lansing neighborhoods. They'll know more info once some last details are finalized. They expect to announce the location in a few weeks and hope to be open by this spring.

All I have to say is that I'm terribly excited for such a delicious piece of my hometown to be joining the city I now call home. #LoveLansing
