They tore the one down in Lansing on Jolly and Dunckel a little while back. We just found out what they are turning that former location into.

While that's happening, keep in mind; this Leo's Coney Island is going in right across the street from Leo's Lodge. Things might get a little confusing... Make sure you clarify to your friends which Leo's you'll be going to for lunch.

Over in Okemos, the artist formerly known as BK on Grand River in front of Best Buy is about to become something completely different as well.

Say Goodbye to Burgers and Hello to Buddy's

Say hello to Buddy's Pizza "coming soon" to Okemos. It's all about location, location, location right? Right next door to the Meridian Mall, located on Grand River, and in a spot where a fair amount of new restaurants have been popping up replacing old staples. There's a Chick-fil-A and a Chipotle right down the street (to the west) and this new location will be directly across the street from a Jimmy John's. They face a little bit of similar competition to the east from Old Chicago (pizza) and the similarily named Buddies Pub and Grill (who have been around for more than 26 years and can't be happy about their new neighbors and their name).

Let the confusion (and maybe lawsuits) begin.

There will soon be TWO Buddy's Pizzas as there is already one over by the Lansing Mall.

Once the second location of Buddy's gets to Okemos, we'll have 2 of those. The only potential problem we'll have with that, will be the 3 of these we already have here.

Come for the pizza, stay for the lawsuits.
