Need a Smile? This Video Could Change Your Day

I always talk about music therapy and how it is helping my daughter make sounds and begin to speak. We have used the kazoo before and my daughter Phoenix has her own at home. But she has never played it on command before. At least until yesterday.

I posted this last night and it had over 1,300 views before I woke up. I have watched it 1,299 times. Everytime, it makes me smile. I am so very proud of my little girl. She has Down Syndrome but her determination is her greatest asset. It will serve her well in the future.

If the video didn't make you smile... I guess I don't know what I am doing. That little boy is such an awesome kid. My daughter is an awesome kid. Seeing these kids find a way to communicate through music is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.
