The Lansing State Journal reports that the Quality Dairy at 1200 West Willow, just west of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in north west, Lansing will not reopen.

The convenience store was damaged this past September when an SUV crashed into the business. Sounds like the 56 year old man driving the vehicle was trying to park around 7:48 AM when he hit the gas instead of the brakes. No one was injured in the incident.

Quality Dairy officials told the Lansing State Journal that after a good deal of consideration, they are opting to close the Willow Avenue store permanently. Seems there's not enough space at that location to redo the store in the style which they're planning for other Quality Dairy renovations, such as the QD on South Cedar Street in Holt, which will get a patio and drive-through window as part of the redo after an electrical fire closed that location in October of 2017.
