Opening Act For GN’R Michigan Tour Stop Announced

The Detroit News is reporting that an opening act for the Guns N' Roses concert scheduled for July 11 at Comerica Park has been announced.

Chicago-based rockers Smashing Pumpkins, one of the most successful alt-rock bands of the 1990's, has been tapped to warm up the stage for Axl Rose and company. Detroit will be one of the six cities that Smashing Pumpkins will open up for Guns N' Roses on the upcoming tour.
