Detroit fans have been spoiled with many legendary hall of fame players in all sports.  One of the great Pistons may soon find his name in the Basketball Hall Of Fame.

According to Detroit Bad Boys,  the Naismith Memorial Hall Of Fame have announced the finalists for the Class of 2019.   Two names on the list that fans in Michigan will recognize, Ben Wallace and Chris Webber.

Both played for the Pistons but Ben Wallace had more impact during his time in Detroit.   Webber was only in Detroit for a part of the 06-07 season. He played most of his seasons in the NBA with Washington and Sacramento.

Ben Wallace was a major defensive star for the Pistons helping the team win the NBA Championship in 2004. He also spent time in the league with Washington, Orlando, Chicago and Cleveland.

He was the leagues premier shot blocker from 2001-2006.   A player that has the defensive numbers to be in the Hall of Fame.  The Pistons retired his number 3 back in 2016.

Will he be selected?   The full announcement on who will be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame will be announced during the Final Four.
