Poll Shows Michigan Voters Support Legal Marijuana
The Detroit News is reporting that a poll by the Glengariff Group indicates that 57% of likely Michigan voters support legalization of marijuana in our state, while 37% are opposed. Based on the 600 persons polled, it was a pretty even split between those who had used marijuana and those who had never used it - 48 to 49 percent, respectively.
Voters may well choose this November whether or not to allow recreational use of weed in our state; if the petition turned in to state officials is deemed legit, then the issue will be on the ballot.
