WFMJ-TV out of Youngstown, Ohio is reporting that former Michigan State running back L.J. Scott (pictured against Arizona State) has left the Cleveland Browns two days after signing a free agent contract with the team.

Scott was not selected in April's NFL Draft after a four-year career with Michigan State that saw him gain nearly 3,000 yards in a Spartan uniform.

L.J. considered leaving MSU after the 2017 season, his junior season, for the NFL Draft.  But he decided to return for his senior year.  Injuries and fumbles plagued his career at Michigan State.
