Why You Need to Add This Hiking Trail in Grand Haven to Your List of Adventures
One of my favorite things to do when the weather is nice is to get out and go for a hike. If you're someone who doesn't go out and hike often because you feel like you never get to rest, I suggest buying yourself a tree hammock.
I've had one for a couple of years and it's by far one of my favorite purchases. I bought mine from REI but since the hammock and straps come separately, it was a little pricey. You can find sets for a decent price on Amazon or Target.
That way when you need a break from hiking, you can set your hammock up in a shady area and rest in the trees.
If you're looking for a new place of adventure how about this hiking trail in Grand Haven?
Rosy Mound Natural Area
The trail itself isn't very long, it's only 0.7 miles but it does have 1,000 feet of stairs. So, if stairs aren't really your thing you might want to think twice about this hike.
However, if you're up for it, the views are phenomenal. Rosy Mound Natural Area is right off of Lake Michigan and there's several stairways and decks with scenic views.
You don't have to worry about burning in the sun because the trails are shaded by a canopy of trees. There is a list of rules when visiting the park. See below.
