(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

AC/DC is making headlines this week, with news of a possible 2014 tour in support of a new album. The band is set to celebrate 40 years of rock and roll this year by playing 40 shows this year. According to an article on ultimateclassicrock.com, AC/DC frontman spilled the beans during a radio interview last week (link), and added that the band is due to start working on the new LP in May. Whether AC/DC heads to our area is yet to be determined. The last time they visited Michigan was in August of 2009, playing back to back shows at The Palace of Auburn Hills and Grand Rapids' Van Andel Arena in support of their 2008 Black Ice release.

Tonight, we venture the 40 years of AC/DC, from both the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson days. We'll venture out of the same ol', same ol' "Shook Me" and "Have A Drink On Me" types for the hard core AC/DC fans who are surely excited about this news. "High Voltage", "What Do You Do For Money", and "Touch Too Much" will be featured for tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot, only on 94.9 WMMQ!!
