The Doobie Brothers are in the news today. The band announced their plans to bring Michael McDonald back into the mix as they team up with some of country music's biggest names for a new studio LP. Apparently, the new album will feature some of The Doobie Brothers' most well-known hits re-recorded with the likes of Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, The Zac Brown Band and others. Expect the LP to be released sometime this year through the Sony Nashville label.
