(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

Rumors have been circulating over the last 24 hours regarding the future of one of rock's most legendary bands. An Australian entertainment reporter has stated that AC/DC will retire immediately due to the health of one of its members. As the news spread like wildfire, it also changed like a game of "Telephone" among a circle of third graders. Malcolm Young has been cited as the ill band member. Some reports state he had a stroke recently, and can't play guitar anymore. Now, "insiders" say that any rumors of AC/DC retiring are exactly that...rumors. Who are we to believe? Personally, I just hope all members are healthy, and they can get on with that planned 2014 LP, and 40th anniversary tour!!

Tonight, we pay homage to the AC/DC legacy, and hope these stories do not result in the end of an era. We will rock as we salute the Brothers Young, and their many band mates over the years with "Ride On", "High Voltage", and "What Do you Do For Money". Three ass-kickers for your Six O'Clock Triple Shot on 94.9 WMMQ!
