(The Six O'Clock Triple Shot is a daily feature of three songs that share a common theme, heard weeknights on 94.9 WMMQ)

Sunday marked the 35th anniversary of Black Sabbath's shocking decision to fire Ozzy Osbourne. The decision was made due to Ozzy's ire-fueled addictions, and the negative toll it was taking on the band. All parties involved tell a somewhat different tale, but all agree, it was a blessing in disguise. Black Sabbath went forth as they recruited the late Ronnie James Dio to fill Ozzy's void, The result? One of their best selling albums ever, Heaven and Hell. Meanwhile, the Prince of Darkness happened along a young lad named Randy Rhodes and recruited him to resurrect his tarnished career. History continues to tell the rest of that story.

Tonight, we dive in to three songs featuring all involved. The original Sabbath line up with "Jack The Stripper/Fairies Wear Boots", Ozzy and Randy Rhodes with "Suicide Solution", and finally Black Sabbath with Ronnie singing "Heaven and Hell"...it's tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot on 94.9 WMMQ!
