It's another rock and roll birthday celebration today as Bob Seger turns 69. Seger is the epitome of Detroit Rock N' Roll and everything it stands for. From political commentary to blue-collar ethics, or just loving the greatness that Michigan has to offer, Seger's music has stood the test of time, and has encapsulated the minds of millions. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member is fresh off of an elaborate world tour in 2013. Bob has been awfully quiet as of late, and has hinted at his "swan song." But don't close the door on the rocker just yet...we're still waiting for a new LP that was rumored to have been slated for a 2013 release.

Tonight, we'll celebrate Bob Seger's birthday by venturing through his illustrious music career. From the early days with The System, we'll hear "2+2=?"; from Stranger In Town, "Till It Shines", featuring fellow Metro Detroiter Glenn Frey on guitar; and "Ain't Got No Money" from the same LP. It's tonight's Six O'Clock Triple Shot on 94.9 WMMQ!
