I'm a big supporter of slippers, fuzzy socks, funny socks, etc. however, those all come off when I sleep and the thought of people sleeping with socks on gives me the heebie jeebies.

Maybe it has to do with the fact that I also love walking around barefoot or the fact that when I start to fall asleep I lock my two big toes together for some ungodly reason, I really don't know.

However, when I see someone sleep with socks on I am completely shocked that they are one of "those people."

First of all, your feet are trapped in socks all day, you've got to let those puppies out to breathe every once in a while!

Also, did you change your socks before you went to bed or are you just wearing the same, sweaty pair your dogs have been barking in all day?

Sleeping with socks on is just gross when you really think about it and I'm no scientist but I can only assume that doesn't help if you've got a little bit of a fungus or just a funky smell problem.

Well apparently, if you are like me and think wearing socks to bed, this doctor on TikTok is going around trying to convert people into monsters by saying it can actually help you fall asleep.

She says something about how the warmth opens up our blood vessels and cools our body down which in turn tells our brains it's time for bed and can help us fall asleep faster.

In her caption she says she is not weird but I'm sorry Doctor Jess, you are...very much so.

It's just so unnatural, uncomfortable and I'm pretty sure even if I tried it I would wake up to find them missing within the sheets because even my bed would want to rip them off of my feet.

I guess if you are having trouble falling asleep lately and you feel like socks might help, anything is better than sleep deprivation:
