Well, I should have known my post on Monday about falling gas prices would be the kiss of death. And, when I saw on wilx.com that "experts" expect prices to drop to near $3.25 per gallon by summer, I should have known that was the nail in the coffin. Yet, I was shocked when I passed the petrol stops up the street from our studios and saw a 29 cent jump today. On Monday, I was thrilled that the price was $3.559. I had even more elation Tuesday when the price fell to $3.509. Today...$3.7999. gasbuddy.com says the Lansing Area average is back up to $3.783, more than 14 cents higher than the national average of $3.640.
