South Lansing Shooting This Morning

We had a call earlier this morning from listener Cameron Bell who reported that there were seven police cruisers and two canine units on Willoughby near Long Boulevard's Autumn Ridge apartments, in south Lansing.

WLNS TV 6 reports that there was a shooting just before 7:00 AM this morning in the 900 block of Long Boulevard; the shooting occurred inside an apartment.

Police report that when they arrived on the scene, they found one person who had been shot in the abdomen.

It would appear that the shooter ran off and at last report, was still being sought by the authorities.

The condition of the shooting victim is not know at this time, nor is it clear if the two people involved knew each other before the attack.
