There are some basic things that you will need to purchase or aquire before you head out for your trip. These are the basic things to get you through a couple of nights of roughing it in your tent. On my first camping trip I forgot a lot of stuff and thankfully there was a store nearby that I could get the remaining supplies that I needed. Don't forget the stuff to make s'mores.
