Toyota Recalls More Vehicles Connected To The Takata Airbag Saga
WILX.com reports that Toyota is recalling another 191,000 cars connected to the ongoing faulty Takata airbags saga.
Some 2003-2008 Corollas and 2005-2008 Matrix wagons are being recalled in this latest round. And, these particular cars have already had one replacement. Apparently, the first repair has its own problems. They potentially could unfold improperly upon inflation in high temperatures, risking injury. The faulty replacement airbags were not made by Takata.
Toyota would not comment on any injury reports.
