Two Lansing Teens Shot In Drive-By Attack

Lansing Police Department reports that a 16 year old male was shot in the lower back and a 17 year old male was shot in the lower leg earlier this afternoon in the 900 block of East Shiawassee Street in Lansing. Their injuries are not life threatening.

Sounds like they were sitting on a porch when shots were fired from a passing SUV.

Authorities placed Eastern High School on a lock-down until 1:00 this afternoon while they searched for the shooter.

LPD believes that the driver of the suspect vehicle - a new model red Jeep SUV - was targeting the house.
