Two Michigan State Football Players Receiving Heisman Hype
This is the most exciting Michigan State football season we've seen in quite some time. The MSU football team is currently 5-0 and ranked11th in the latest A.P. rankings.
In a perfect world I would love to see undefeated MSU and undefeated UM battle it out on the football field in a couple of weeks at Spartan Stadium.
There are several players on the MSU football team that are actually getting Heisman hype.
Two of those players are Kenneth Walker III and Jayden Reed. These two guys are magic on the football field and fans love watching them.
Both Walker and Reed are very gifted football players. Let's take a look at Walker for example, he's got the right moves and he gets the job done. Right now, Walker is leading the nation in rushing. He breaks tackles, finds the open holes and away he goes.
And then what about Jayden Reed? This guy is great too!
According to the Detroit Free Press:
Reed, a junior, ran back a punt return for a touchdown for the second straight week in No. 11 MSU's 48-31 win Saturday over Western Kentucky while catching four passes for 127 yards and a 46-yard touchdown as well as s second 46-yard throw from Payton Thorne on the Spartans' second scoring possession.
Just the fact that Reed and Walker are getting Heisman buzz is quite the compliment for both MSU football players.
I think we all appreciate how well the Michigan State football team is doing this season. A 5-0 season is quite remarkable for the Spartans and we're all looking forward to more wins in the next several weeks.
We also appreciate the fine job that coach Mel Tucker is doing as head coach and we wish him and the rest of the team good luck! GO GREEN! GO WHITE!
Let's go back to January of 2013 and watch the MSU Spartan marching band!
