UPDATE – FOUND SAFE! Two Young Michigan Children Missing from Burton

An Amber Alert has been issued for two young children who were in a car that was stolen from a Burton gas station just before 7:00 this morning.

The children's mother went into the Admiral gas station on Saginaw Street in Burton, leaving her 2 year old daughter and 9 month old son in the backseat of her 2000 dark blue Monte Carlo with tinted/dark windows with a Michigan license plate DKZ 4121. The girl, long brown hair and hazel eyes, was reportedly wearing a pink coat, purple pants and blue snow boots, while the baby, brown eyes and brown hair, was wearing footie pajamas with trucks on them.

The car was reportedly stolen by a heavy-set black man. Please call 9-1-1 if you see these kids or the stolen vehicle.
